The Everton Former Players’ Foundation use the Sky broadcast box in the corner of the Park End and Mainstand to raise funds for the Charity.

E.F.P.F. does this by allowing parties of 10 or 11 supporters to have a three course meal and watch the match from the box all in the company of a former Everton player.

If you would like to take the box please see the ‘Sky Box Availability’ page of this website.

You now can have the opportunity of having your company name on the outside of the box. Everton have allowed the Foundation to look for Sponsors for the box who will then be allowed to advertise on the outside.

Anyone one interested in Sponsoring/Advertising on the outside of the box please contact this website for details.

Just Giving is a totally secure way of making an online donation used by many charities.

Why charities use JustGiving

On JustGiving, charities raise more money. Not only because we reclaim Gift Aid on every eligible pound but also, and most importantly, because we have an amazing bunch of users – 8 million and counting. They use the tools we build to do extraordinary things for charity.

Our platform is rock solid and secure. Thousands of charities have entrusted their online fundraising to JustGiving because our site runs on a state-of-the-art, multi-million-pound technology platform, managed and developed by our 25-strong technology team. On the rare occasions when things go wrong, we fix them, and fix them fast. We don’t sub-contract or cut corners: the buck stops with us.

Marco Cable Management has sponsored this year’s Everton Former Players’ Foundation Golf Day which is being held in conjunction with Everton in the Community.

The company has also provided the Former Players’ Foundation with T-Shirts and Sweaters for fund raising activities.

E.F.P.F would like to thank Marco’s for its generous support.

MARCO CABLE MANAGEMENT

please click on the name above to find the company website

Marco Cable Management was launched in 2003 by industry expert, Ian MacGregor, as a UK-based cable management manufacturer of quality uPVC data containment systems and Steel Wire Cable Tray products.

A service driven business with an over-riding focus on meeting the needs of Electrical Consultants and Installers, in partner¬ship with the Electrical Distributor, Marco has maintained a commitment to developing and enhancing product ranges and accessories that suit existing, new and emerging markets. In 2004, the company began to manufacture Bench Trunking and Power Poles, marking the beginnings of a new stream of accessories to support the installation process.

Investment in machinery has been vital enabling the company to develop in line with its business strategy, and 2005 saw Marco secure a host of new machines and equipment. All products are manufactured in-house within the UK, ensuring quality and standards are upheld. The following year saw Marco launch its Cat-6 range which opened the door to a new generation of customers, essentially taking the company to its next level. Now with two sites in North Wales, the company operates a separate storage facility to ensure high stock levels are sustained making way to step up manufacturing output at the company’s original site.

Marco’s workforce has grown steadily through the years and today the company employs over 60 people, including a sales team who provide nationwide coverage. All employees are highly skilled and trained within their area of focus and are encouraged to up-skill and develop professionally within the company. 2007 saw Marco recognised for its achievements and was presented a series of industry, local and national business awards. The company prides itself on its high staff retention rates and positive employment ethos.

Quality is imperative and the company operates a high specification in-house testing programme, ensuring all products are fully compliant with IEC61537 and related standards. Regular full deflection tests are carried out on all products alongside alternative configuration testing with a commitment to develop¬ing the next generation of products for both the UK and European markets. The in house ‘kit;’ allowed Marco to develop its product ranges using a controlled and organic approach, subsequently launching it s next generation of Steel Wire Cable Tray range in 2008.

The company has a solid group structure in place with strong leadership, an external sales force as well as a central sales team, product development, administration and financial teams. A new management team was appointed in 2009, made up of industry experts, each a key figure in the cable containment sector. With such firm foundations in place, the company has been ideally positioned to continue to deliver its ongoing growth and development strategy, and in 2010 a programme of investment was rolled out culminating in the launch of Elite, a new uPVC trunking system.

Quality, service and trust continue to underpin the Marco ethos and it is these principles that drive the business further forward. With exciting plans ahead, the company looks forward to building on its success to date, developing its customer base and launching new products and ranges that meet the needs of a changing building environment.
