E.F.P.F. Donates Bench

The Everton Former Players’ Foundation has donated a Bench to the Rhys Jones Complex in Croxteth.

The Complex in Croxteth made up of two five a side football pitches and a community centre was set up in the name of Evertonian Rhys Jones who died tragically at the age of 11 in 2007.

A memorial fund was set up in his name to help bring the Complex to fruition click on Rhys Jones Memorial Fund to see details of the fund.

The Complex was opened by Everton Legend Joe Royle with Rhys’ parents Melanie and Stephen Jones.

A plaque will be added to the bench in due course. Everton Former Players’ Foundation Trustee was in attendance and can be seen sitting on the bench in the photograph above.
