Temple is new Patron

Everton former players foundation are pleased to announce that Derek Temple the clubs legendary 1966 Cup winner has accepted the post of Patron to the Charity.
He now joins Joe Royle who also accepted the post and is added to Alex Young, Barry Horne, Duncan McKenzie, Alan Stubbs & Graeme Sharp as the former player Patrons and Club Chairman Bill Kenwright, EFPF Founder David France and Club Sponsor Lennart Roth.
Derek who joined the club as a youngster and made his debut in March 1957 at home to Newcastle United played for the club over 270 times and scored over 80 goals. He also scored the legendary 3rd goal winner against Sheffield Wednesday in the 1966 Cup Final.
He has always been happy to help the foundation and its work and all at the Charity are delighted that he has accepted the offer of becoming a Patron.
