Everton former players foundation now have a hattrick of New Patrons.

Following the news that both Everton legends Joe Royle and Derek Temple had accepted the role of Patrons to the charity another club legend Dave Hickson has also accepted the same role.

Dave made his Everton debut 1st September 1951 Away to Leeds United and went onto a further 242 games for the club over two spells. 1951-1955 & 1957-1960 scoring 111 goals for Everton over those 243 games.

Dave has been a legend of the club ever since and the Foundation thought it fitting to award him the post of Patron together with Joe & Derek for the support he has shown the Charity since it started back in 1999.
