Wilmington Hammerhead lounge raffle

Everton former players foundation would like to thank all at Wilmington Hammerheads (North Carolina U.S.A.) for holding a lounge raffle on behalf of E.F.P.F.

Wilmington’s connection to Everton former players foundation comes from their coach David Irving who played for Everton from 1973-1976 his stats can be seen by clicking HERE

Irving signed for Everton for £30,000 from Workington AFC aged 22 he made 8 appearances for the blues before moving on to Sheffield United.

After a few seasons at Oldham Athletic and Shamrock Rovers David moved to the states playing for Fort Lauderdale in the NASL playing alongside the legendary Gerd Muller. He hung up his boots in 1981 and after a time out of the game and also coaching in Finnland he returned to the U.S. were he eventually found his current role as coach of Wilmington Hammerheads of the U.S.

E.F.P.F. contacted David to do an interview which David graciously gave us and at the same time asked Bob Chance of the Wilmington Hammerheads supporters club to set up a lounge raffle on our behalf. The lounge raffle will take place this Saturday and as well as winning signed Wilmington Hammerheads shirts the Wilmington fans will get their chance to win Tim Howard Everton training top which the former players foundation secured for the raffle.

More information on the raffle will appear here so please return to the website soon.
